In retrieving information, we are often interested in the relationship of similarity between the beneficiarys request and each document within a certain set of documents, and when the similarity scale is high, then we say that the document is appropriate to the request and has been retrieved. Its suitability is due to thart the documents in the higher rank are most appropriate compared to the lower rank.
