Aims and Scope of the Journal

The Regional Studies Journal (RSJ) is a peer-reviewed academic journal committed to publishing original research that deepens understanding and analysis of political, economic, social, legal, and historical phenomena within regional and international contexts. The journal seeks to contribute to development, stability, regional integration, and evidence-based policymaking.

The journal aims to:

1. Support rigorous academic research in accordance with international scholarly standards.

2. Encourage comparative and analytical studies on regional issues relevant to the Arab world, the Middle East, and neighboring regions.

3. Promote scholarly dialogue among researchers across related disciplines.

4. Contribute to the formulation of public policies based on research and informed analysis.

5. Support high-quality academic publishing in Arabic, while also welcoming submissions in other languages to broaden research impact.

The journal's publication scope:
The journal welcomes research in the humanities and social sciences on the following topics:
Modern and contemporary history: the history of the countries of the Middle East, Central Asia, and North Africa; the history of the European Union, Britain, and the Russian Federation; the history of China and East Asian countries; and the history of the United States.
Political sciences: international relations, political systems, public policy, political thought, and political theories.
Law: international law, constitutional law, human rights, civil law, administrative law, commercial and private law.
Economics: economics, economic development, sustainable development, regional economies, fiscal and monetary policy, political economy, and accounting.
Sociology: societal transformations, identity and culture, social conflict.
