Abstract
Abstract Title of This Research is: (Complementarity in the Holy Quran: a study of the concept, connotations and Purposes). It aims to explain the concept of complementarity as a Quranic style, and to mention its images, Connotations, and purposes. It has been concluded that the Quran is rich in styles with connotative intentional dimensions. Therefore, there is no word or composition in the Quran without benefit. Complementarity is an increase in speech to clarify or confirm or for a purpose that corresponds to the meanings and contextual meanings. It has many connotative meaningful effects that make it close to the science of rhetoric. Some scholars have considered the topics of complementarity are of the necessities of the structure. Complementarity is one of the broadest rhetorical methods used in Qur'anic contexts and comes in in many verbal and moral images. Indications and guidance of complementarity are all due to the meaning. Complementarity also includes most of the rhetorical and eloquent aspects of the statement. It varies to: complementarity of imperfection, complementarity of reserve, and complementarity of exaggeration, and these types may converge in some aspects. Under each of the three types comes images and styles, and it has various purposes and guidance between doctrinal, intellectual, imaginary, educational, and behavioral aspects.
