Abstract

This research dealt with vaudeville technique in the three plays. Where we talked about the focal points that relied on this technology used in the theater. These plays are theatrical costumes and comic situations (instead of the house containing the man and his wife, we find it including the man, his wife, and the wife's lover). Moussa used this technique in his romantic play to deal with politics and to highlight the tragedies of the inhabitants of the Italian city of Florence. In return, Cocteau used this technique to refer to the chaos experienced by the Michel family and to speak about the inability to communicate and understanding between its members, while the third play, Jean Inwi, used the same technique To focus on the extent of the tragic hero derived from the Greek theater to express the chasm that separates him from others
