The intuitive way for Al-Ghazali
Abstract
1- The study of the axiomatic method of al-Ghazali and the analysis of his logical attempt represent a new breakthrough in scientific philosophical studies in general, and in logical studies in particular. Both logical and mathematical.
The importance of this study is evident in the fact that the topic it focused on was not dealt with by the hand of research in presentation and analysis, as we did not find a single research that was presented by the study to this scientific aspect of Al-Ghazalis thought, in addition to the lack of various Arab intellectual circles for such studies, all of these things made the topic Bakr material can be targeted and drawn from several studies that seek to uncover its various scientific aspects.
2- The role of this research on highlighting the intuitive structure of Al-Ghazali's thought, that structure that he constructed in particular in his logical attempt which he deposited in his two books entitled "The Standard of Knowledge" and "The Test of Logic" and generally scattered in his other books. To confirm the answer to the following two questions, what do we mean by the intuitive method? And what are the dimensions of this way of thinking
Logical Ghazali? Before answering these two questions, we believe it is necessary to present a layout in which the dimensions of the topic covered by the study and the approach that was sought are determined.
The dimensions of the topic are determined in two directions. The first direction indicates that Al-Ghazali chose in building his logical idea first a set of elementary limits in the form of variables, constants, and a set of logical relations, and through these limits and using logical relationships, he was able to build the axioms that belong to that
Construction While the second trend emphasizes that the logical structure of 'Al-Ghazali' consists of two groups of buildings. The first group includes a number of axioms as primary issues. While the second group includes a set of arguments that they are secondary issues derived from the axioms, and Al-Ghazali was able to actually prove these issues by using a set of deductive laws in the derivation ... or inference.
As for the method that the researcher sought, it is the analytical method based on the analysis of the logical and al-Ghazali structure, to the foundations of primacy, in order to distinguish between the simple foundations that represent the primary boundaries and the complex foundations that represent the issues. In order to clarify the nature of the primary boundary and the manner in which the case is constructed and to reveal the conditions that determine that an issue is primary in construction or secondary, and finally, we seek to use this approach to highlight the essential features of that structure in which these issues are organized.
