The Journal of Rafidain Environment (JRE) is a peer-reviewed scientific journal issued by the College of Environmental Sciences / University of Mosul, with an international electronic standard serial number (e-ISSN: 2957-6601).

JRE is dedicated to advancing and enriching academic knowledge in the fields of environmental sciences and technologies. The journal aims to publish high-quality original research papers that highlight the latest developments in environmental issues, including sustainable policies and technologies. It also seeks to provide a scholarly platform for the exchange of expertise and knowledge among researchers and specialists from around the world, contributing to scientific advancement and fostering regional and international research collaboration.

JRE welcomes submissions from authors worldwide and encourages contributions from a diverse range of local and international academic institutions.

The journal is published semi-annually by the College of Environmental Sciences and follows a double-blind peer-review process to ensure the publication of high-quality research. It is published electronically and accepts original research articles and review papers in various areas of environmental science, including theoretical and applied studies, as well as related disciplines such as biology, chemistry, geochemistry, environmental geology, environmental engineering and pollution control, petroleum engineering, and mining engineering.

JRE adopts an open-access policy, allowing all published research to be freely read and downloaded without restrictions. The journal is committed to preserving the intellectual property rights of authors, whereby contributors retain full ownership of their research content. Copyright is granted to the journal under a non-exclusive license, permitting publication and distribution while ensuring reuse in accordance with open-access licensing terms.

Manuscripts are accepted exclusively in Arabic or English, and all submissions are screened using Turnitin software to ensure originality and prevent plagiarism.

The editorial board adheres to rigorous academic and scientific standards, applies double-blind peer review, and follows the ethical guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
