Abstract
This research is a study of the phonetic effort of an Egyptian linguist who rose to fame in the twentieth century, appearing in his works (Introduction to Arabic Phonetics, Recitation of the Holy Quran in the Light of Modern Linguistic Studies, Introduction to the Phonetics of the Arabic Language and the Art of Quranic Performance) .It dealt with his approach to presenting important issues and the way he dealt with them, and how to interpret, explain and justify them. It also showed the points of agreement and disagreement between some of the opinions of ancient and modern scholars, such as Al-Khalil, Sibawayh, Ibn Jinni, Ibrahim Anis and Kamal Bishr.This research included a summary, an introduction and two sections, the first of which dealt with the articulation point in language and terminology, and the second dealt with the articulation points of sounds according to Abdul Fattah Abdul Aleem Al-Barkawi, then the conclusion .
