The morphological forms that have the same meaning and start with the hamza in Tahdhib al-Lughah by al-Azhari - Study and Dictionary –
Abstract
The research dealt with the formulas that are repeated with one meaning and begin with the hamza in the dictionary Tahdheeb al-Lughah, the dictionary that was composed by the unique genius, the master of language, al-Azhari, who died in the year (372 AH), who was famous for the accuracy of his transmission with an uninterrupted scientific chain of transmission, and the abundance of his taking from the books of scholars, especially the books that were mostly lost; therefore, the dictionary became a scientific treasure and a crucible of knowledge in the rational and transmitted sciences of language. The linguistic formulas that Al-Azhari included in his dictionary were treated in terms of morphology and grammar in the places that required morphology, and they were documented with precise scientific documentation. Then the research was divided into a study and a dictionary, the study of which included two sections: The first section included something about Al-Azharis biography and his method in arranging the words that came with one meaning in his dictionary. The second chapter included an analytical study of some of the formulas that Al-Azhari included and came with one meaning - as he sees it - while the dictionary included the formulas that came in his dictionary with one meaning arranged alphabetically, served by scientific graduation according to the traditions of the people of investigation and morphology among the students.
