Abstract
This research focuses on the psychological analysis of some of the main characters in the novel Artificial Bonds by Nathan Devers, which highlights the impact of digital technology on the human psyche and human relationships. By presenting the characters and their internal conflicts, this study discusses the identity crises and psychological separation that individuals suffer from in a world dominated by digital assumptions.The study particularly examines three characters: Julien Librat, who suffers from psychological isolation and emotional fragility, May Carpentier, who faces a conflict between her personal ambitions and her need for emotional security, and Sbastien, who represents the utilitarian side of human relationships. Furthermore, the research highlights the literary style of the writer Nathan Devers, who used innovative narrative techniques to illustrate these psychological and social conflicts.The research aims to analyze the impact of technology on identity and human relationships, while highlighting the literary style and the cultural and social context in which the novel was written
