الملخص

The diversity of gemstones’ colours gave diversity in itself to the forms of living nature represented by gardens, vases, aquatic plants and monasteries, and living nature represented by birds and animals, so the influence is clear in both sources, gemstones and silent and living nature, as the coupling generated by the meeting of gemstones with the elements of nature generates in the poet inspiration and dedication to convey his voice to sources through which he can address the hearer with the most accurate phrases and signals that push the poet to express his/her poetic creativity. The inspiration that is generated in the poet stems first from his feelings, as feelings have a great impact in dealing with issues of nature, especially silent ones. There is another factor that supports feelings in achieving creativity, which is the poetic style that lies in issues of rhetoric through metaphor, metonymy, and simile, in addition to linguistic issues in presentation, delay, and prepositions, as these rhetorical and linguistic styles and letters in general work to push the poet to be creative in his poetry and to convey that creative poetic achievement to the recipient. From this standpoint, we studied silent and living nature through extracting gemstones in the poetry of the 3rd and 4th Abbasid era
