The Effectiveness of The Closed Place: in Qais bin Al-Mulawah's Poetry
Abstract
The closed place often has limits which may be material seen by the poet or psychological, the openness and closure of places is a relative subject different from one person to another, and means that the closure as prison but meant the closed place that contains certain borders that isolate it from its outer surroundings, and the study reveals the secrets of those places in the poetry of Qais bin Al-Mulawah. The house, the tent and the grave were places that were the best expression of the poet's inside feelings in his love for Layla, where those places came the place of the beloved, he sees in the walls the image of Layla, so the closed place in his poetry carrying indications that may be a tangible material such as walls and tents or may be intangible morals such as the emotional places that the poet emphasizes as places of Layla and no one solves it other than Layla. The study in his papers will reveal the effectiveness of those places and the significance of their closure and their effect on the Qais bin Al-Mulawahs poetry.
