Al-Safadi Is considered as one of the prominent literary figures and historians in the Mamluk state. He was firstly educated in his birthplace Safad, and then traveled between Syria and Egypt, for earn as much learning as he could from the notable scholars of his age. He enrolled in the service of the Mamluk chancery( Diwan Al-Insha), but he keeps looking for learning all through his life. His scientific pursue acquired him with much respect and admiration of the scholars and men of literature. This research aims to clarify the position Al-Safadi enjoyed in field of scientific learning in 8th century A.H. as it reflected in the eyes of his contemporizes.
