Abstract

The studies of the history of modern and contemporary area of the Arab Gulf have constituted a basic pivot to the studies of modern and contemporary history at the University of Baghdad since the initiation of higher studies-M.A in Modern History- College of Arts- 1974. The studies of the history of the United Arab Emirates are characterized by a clear privacy emphasized by statistics that were conducted by the two researchers in the present study at the level of M.A & Ph. D theses or at the level of the published researches in specialized academic magazines issued by the university colleges which are referred to within the study. This research is an attempt to shed light on the paths of the academic accomplishment of the United Arab Emirates- modern and contemporary, by using review, analysis and assessment in the light of the accomplishments of the Iraqi researcher at the level of theses and academy- M.A & Ph. D- and the published scientific researches in recognized scientific academic magazines issued by the colleges of Baghdad University. The time framework of the subject of the study was determined in 1974- the start of the first M.A thesis until 2019.
