This paper aims at reviewing the ayat in which the singular replaces the plural explaining the reason of the singular instead of the plural. As I think, I was able to enumerate the singular utterances instead of the plural ones. I explained their meaning, depending on sayings of linguists and interpreters, presenting my opinion about them. The paper is starts with an introduction. I found it suitable to review the utterances according to their appearance in the Holy book. It became clear to me that the analysis of the used texts led to a number of conclusions which are mentioned in the final section.
