Abstract

The study of the history of the Arab society before Islam indicates that this society has known all these forms of patriarchal authority in the family, and the power of the sheikhdom in the Arab tribes, especially the Bedouins and some cities of the Hijaz and central Arabia, and knew the royal authority in the north and south of the Arabian Peninsula.
